Marvelous graphic EQ

Firstly, don't be an idiot like me. Sign up for the build forum so you can "see" the build pics. Otherwise they just look like broken jpeg links until you sign up for an account and sign in to the forum. Very straight forward build with the PCB component map and especially once you sign up and into the build forum to see the build pics (KEY!). Support is fantastic, if you need it, and build was fun. I purchased two units to re-amp anything and everything in stereo. The clincher for me was the ability to switch between 3 dB, 6 dB and 12dB.... I can waaaay over do it in 12dB and then back off to 6dB or 3 dB... awesome sauce. I don't like using plugins because I'll fidget forever. When I've got something physical, I move forward with much more expediency and conviction. signal path in descriptions https://youtu.be/Ef4TNwk7SVY?si=D8kZKLwqeeQTjEgO https://youtu.be/YOkkvAMkYh0?si=_yycXkhEDpSewgE0 https://youtu.be/iWfe_7vhpbk?si=Bxh5sYh05RQpZ9tTRauri Finan (Wed Mar 11 2026, 14:30 pm )
Simply amazing!

I'm personally not familiar with using an API 560, but all the research I've done on them led me to want to take the leap and give these a shot. I use a pair of these for kick and snare and I've been LOVING the sound they bring! The control of adding 3, 6, or 12 dB is highly useful and being able to bypass for a quick A/B. Build was fairly easy.ApricotEnvy (Fri Sep 13 2024, 17:39 pm )
